In short: adidas outdoor was on the search for new, crazy and adventurous athletes.
Athletes & teams from all over the world applied with their passion. Out of over 300 projects, 4 were chosen and documented to create a complete movie.
Months of preparation, sweat, struggle and moments of doubt and happiness accompanied us. We literally lived the 4 chosen passions: kayaking, bouldering, trail and sky running. This was the only way to reach each person´s target. In the end, all deserved to win, but only one was able to convince the prominent judge Thomas Huber.
WINNER! Waterfall Rampage USA- Together with Adrian Mattern, our team travelled to the north-west of the United States. All of the equipment, including the kayak, needed to be transported through the jungle and the remote rivers put our endurance to the test. Upon arrival to the water, all the struggle was forgotten.
360° Flying Project Bolivia- One mountain peak was not enough for him. Antonin Checcini planned to reach three. Not just any peaks, but the volcano Nevado Sajama (6.542 m), Pomerade (6.282 m) and Parinacota (6.348 m) in Bolivia. To get from one peak to another he used his paraglider – a unique approach.
Into the Clouds Sao Tome- Gareth Leah’s target was Africa. The Pico Cão Grande in Sao Tome, central Africa, to be exact. A black, needle-shaped, 300m high rock protruding out of nothing. On this remarkable piece of earth Leah explored new bigwall climbing routes with our help.
Drakensberg Dreaming- The Chilean Mauricio Montenegro´s target was the steepest range of mountains in Southern Africa: The Dragon Mountains. His idea: 136 km trailrunning from one side to the other.
